His wife, Bishop Margaret Idahosa is the current presiding bishop of the church. This man was a great man of God he has really thought me alot I admire him a lot. God truly blessed him.

And I know he is enjoying in heaven. I respect the documentary of this great man of God,and we always admire the way God used this man. May his precious soul continue to rest in peace. Sir your grace is already at work in me l praise God for this privilege given to me to work from were you stopped.

Nobody will have the pleasure of sympathising with me because of long suffering; that is one of the gifts which I do not have: the gift of Lo-o-ong suffering! On Thursday, the 12th March, , Idahosa started the day as busy as always. In his office he asked for a cup of tea which he did not drink up. This was not strange. But when he repeated it unnecessarily, there was a reason to suspect the unusual but no notice was taken of it.

Later that afternoon, at lunch with his guests, he spoke about heaven. He asked them whether they believed it was possible for one to walk to heaven like Elijah did? He said he would prefer to be translated like Enoch and Elijah.

He told them he had a heavenly drink in his cup. His high sense of humour was on parade. He excused himself to go to Miracle Centre, his Church office and prayed with different segments of people at the Church Office and including the Bible School students before he went back to meet his guests at home.

It was an early afternoon and Idahosa and his guests were at the table. A characteristic humour of the Archbishop eliciting laughter and chatter punched with the lunch. It was a sumptuous meal and both local and international guests were satisfied. The caption started another round of conversation. It was about heaven. Then suddenly, there was a hush as the archbishop broke into the good natured conversation and asked.

I have news for you. I am prepared to go to heaven right now, anyone going with me? Everyone was silent. The mood of the diners changed and went to their rooms. He indicated those aspects of the master plan he had implemented and requested the professor to continue from where he was ending.

The Archbishop was the symbol of the university. I walked boldly up to the father of the dead child. With great enthusiasm, I walked into the room and up to the bed. The child was cold and dead. With strong faith in the Lord, I called on the Lord to restore the child back to life. The corpse sneezed, heavily, alas. The child had come back to life!

History holds that he was born of poor pagan parents. In addition, he was a sickly infant who was always fainting. In addition to being rejected by his father, he was sent to work on a farm as a servant and was denied education until he was 14 years old. Benson Idahosa received an irregular form of education due to the poor financial status of his parents.

The conversion of Benson Idahosa is one that we can class as dramatic. Also, the nature of his calling is one that we can perceive as supernatural. Behold, it was on a Sunday afternoon in a football field that Benson Idahosa was converted by Pastor Okpo. Little did he know that his going to play soccer was going to be a turning point in his entire life. Records hold that while in the field to play soccer with his teammates, Pastor Okpo preached the Good News of Jesus Christ and he openly received it.

It is said that as a young convert, Benson Idahosa became very zealous to winning souls as well as conducting outreaches to villages around Benin City. It is said that Benson Idahosa was called to the ministry in a night vision from the Lord. In his journeys, he was accompanied by a great anointing and power.

Many were convinced of their sins and decided to change from their evil ways as they follow Christ. Also, many were healed as he prayed for the sick. Most of the ministers that Archbishop Benson Idahosa supervised pastored churches of 1, to 4, people.
