Where is cubby from 96.1 the beat

Look this is not the only issue we based this upon. End of Statement. I'm a little torn on this issue. I feel bad for the driver. I believe she made an honest mistake. However I don't understand why she let him on the bus, especially while talking on a cell phone. The kids that go the middle school wear uniforms and are not allowed to use a cell phone on the bus.

Thank goodness it was a stupid radio stunt and not someone with malicious intent. It's a new year and CMS probably doesn't want to be seen as weak. The driver could have disciplined but I think CMS is trying to make a point by firing her. CMS bus driver fired after stunt Quote:. Last edited by NCgirl; at AM.. You know it's high time that they started punishing the irrespoinsible ahoels at these radio stations, for illegal pranks.

They get away with it becasue it is journalism 4 legged animal droppings!!!!! They should yank the plugs for a week. Great advertisment though. Look at all the free coverage they are getting.

Before listening to the "prank" I felt bad for the bus driver. After listening I agree she should have been fired. If you are driving children around you need to have SOME common sense. This woman was totally irresponsible. Remember to share it on your Social Media. Comments with links to other websites will not be published.

August 27, New. Morning show sidekick at Charlotte radio station sidekick faces arrest after on-air school bus prank. Urban Radio Nation. Some things are dumb. Some things are stupid. Then some things are just plain old stupid and dumb. The morning sidekick for Charlotte's The prank began with "AM Mayhem" sidekick Cubby boarding a bus carrying elementary school children. They wanted to see if baby faced sidekick could pass himself off as a student. While the year old Cubby interacted with students on the bus, his antics were broadcast live while chatting with the show's morning team for about 14 minutes.

Cubby aka: Jase Edwards Squires is expected to turn himself into police and face possible charges yet to be determined. The locavore movement has, ahem, taken root in Charlotte over the past year, and Cassie Parsons and Natalie Veris, owners of Grateful Growers Farm in eastern Lincoln County, have been at the forefront.

And the two have been enthusiastic spokespeople for the farm-to-fork initiative. Hysterics aside, the team tackles topics that tug on our heartstrings, such as two years ago when they remembered fallen CMPD officers Jeff Shelton and Sean Clark. When he was hired, people questioned whether sixty-eight-year-old Larry Brown had enough magic left to turn around the moribund Charlotte Bobcats.

By turning over half the roster and willing the team into playoff contention, Brown has answered those questions. Never one to be left behind by the rest of the country, Charlotte has caught up with the Twitter trend.
